Family Activity

On Mondays we have a family activity. This week I sewed a piece of fabric into a square that would hang off of the table ever so slightly. Then we took the kids hands and painted them harvest colors. We then pressed their tiny hands onto the fabric. After the paint dried, I took a fabric pen and made their prints into turkeys. It was fun and they like to point out their turkeys at the table. I also wrote "Be Humble" and "Be Grateful" on the edges with the fabric pen. We will add more turkeys as they come to our family.

Dad went to town with the "Turkey Day" painting. It wasn't a part of my plan but it works and I have to remember that I am not the only creative one in our home. Thanks Honey!
