I enjoy Christmas decorations and I really wasn't ready for the season to be over. So I thought that our family would start to have an annual Snowman party. That way I could decorate for January and make it a little more special. (We live in Michigan and it can get very gray most days)
So I made snowballs out of yarn. They're just pom poms. I used Dana's tutorial over at Made. I then made snowflakes and hung them from the ceiling. The kids (my husband included) really enjoy these. I used this tutorial for the 3-D ones and then I used Martha's guide for the the regular ones.
Our Snowman Party will be next week during Family Home Evening. We will be making baby food jar snow globes, a snowman family, eating melted snowman soup and snowman sugar cookies. I was going to have it sooner but sickness hit our family and I figured we could do it any day in January.
I am excited about decorating for Valentine's Day!
